Curated by the Snap Foundation and our community, The Creator's Compass is a newsletter that shares real stories, opportunities, and happenings across Los Angeles' creative scene. Made for curious minds ages 14-24, and the educators, mentors and allies who support them.
Provides technical support for exhibitions, performances, screenings, and live events at Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles by installing, operating, and maintaining audio/visual systems, assisting with media-based artworks, and ensuring seamless production across experimental and traditional museum programming.
APPLY NOWSupports global arts philanthropy initiatives at the Getty Foundation by coordinating grant programs, researching funding initiatives, managing application and reporting processes, and collaborating with cultural institutions, archives, and scholars to advance art historical scholarship, preservation, and access to arts education resources.
APPLY NOWProvides paid teaching and mentorship opportunities for emerging musician-educators to lead hands-on music education programs across Los Angeles schools, helping students explore composition, creativity, and classical music through immersive, community-centered learning experiences at the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.

We're forming a Creative Careers Council of partner organizations to meet monthly to:
Shape which careers and pathways we should highlight
Identify gaps in who we're reaching and what we're missing
Connect us to industry professionals and organizations who are interested in helping
Give real-time feedback on what's resonating with youth
Surface barriers (transit, deadlines, access issues) we can address together
Commitment: One 60-minute virtual meeting per month starting in January 2026!
Interested in the Council? Send us an email and let us know. We’re also happy to answer any questions and would love to hear your ideas!
