For more than 35 years, Ryman Arts has provided rigorous, tuition-free visual arts education, mentorship, and college and career preparation to young artists across Southern California. Ryman Arts transforms lives by creating access and opportunity for a diverse community of young artists through out-of-school studio art instruction, guidance, art supplies, and support services—all at no cost to the student. Now growing across four campuses, Ryman Arts has reached over 41,000 young artists.

Upcoming Opportunities at Ryman Arts:

This summer, Ryman Arts launched its first digital arts and workforce development initiative: pLAtform: Launching Young Artists into LA’s Creative Economy. Hosted at Reveal Studio in Glendale, this new pilot program helps alumni of Ryman Arts’ Core Studio Art Program translate their foundational drawing and painting skills into digital practice, portfolio development, and professional pathways.

As creative careers continue to evolve alongside emerging technologies and production tools, pLAtform equips alumni with practical skills, mentorship, and industry insight to help them navigate what comes next. The 12-week pilot includes hands-on instruction, guest speakers, mentorship, and portfolio-building opportunities designed to help young artists take the next step toward sustainable creative careers in Los Angeles.

Ryman Arts is seeking a Teaching Artist to teach for the Fall 2026 semester at the California State University, San Bernardino campus.
