Amalyn Romero (or simply Amalyn on stage) is a 24-year-old Laurel Canyon-based artist blending Afro-pop, Afro R&B, and Afrobeats into a bold Afro-Latin sound. She started creating at 12, detoured into computer engineering, then followed the call back to music in 2021 — leaving school to go all in. Her debut EP drops this quarter.
